John Lever Tillotson (known as Jack)  married Ruby Ritchie in Sydney, Australia, in 1902.

She was born in Australia in 1881. Her father John Ritchie was born in Paisley in Scotland and emigrated to Australia (aged 11) and her mother's name was Annie (probably nee. Alston).
